Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These terms govern your use of AlphaTicket (https://alphaticket.app) — whether you are browsing, buying a ticket, or attending an event sold through the platform. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to them. If you organize events and sell tickets through the platform, the Organizer Terms also apply to you.

1. Who we are

AlphaTicket is an online ticketing platform that lets event organizers create event pages, sell tickets, check guests in at the door and track sales. The platform is operated by:

Operator: [Operator legal name]
Address: [Registered address]
Registration: [Company / trade licence ID (IČO)]

2. Our role — who you buy from

AlphaTicket is a technical intermediary. When you buy a ticket, your purchase contract is with the event organizer named on the event page — not with us. The organizer is responsible for the event itself: its content, schedule, venue, admission rules, safety, and for delivering what was advertised.

We provide the technology: the event page, the checkout, ticket delivery by email, QR-code entry validation and sales reporting. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

3. Buying tickets

  • You buy as a guest — no account is needed. You must provide an accurate name, email address and phone number; the email address is where your ticket is delivered.
  • After successful payment your ticket (a QR code) is emailed to you. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes. If it is missing, contact the organizer or us at hello@alphaticket.app and we will resend it.
  • Each ticket admits one person once. The first scan of the QR code at the venue counts; keep your ticket private and do not share screenshots of it. If several copies of a ticket show up, the one scanned first gets in.
  • Tickets that have been refunded or cancelled are invalidated automatically and will be rejected at the door.
  • You must be legally capable of entering a contract to make a purchase. Some events may have age or other admission restrictions set by the organizer — these are stated on the event page and enforced at the venue.

4. Prices and payment

  • The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Any fees are shown before you confirm the purchase.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. Your payment data is handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Prices are shown in the currency stated on the event page (typically CZK). Your bank may apply conversion fees for other currencies — those are outside our control.

5. Refunds, cancellations and the right of withdrawal

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: ticket purchases are generally final, but you are entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled.

Note on the EU 14-day withdrawal right: under Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Section 1837(j) of the Czech Civil Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply to leisure-related services scheduled for a specific date — which includes event tickets. This is stated before you complete a purchase.

6. Acceptable use

When using the platform you must not:

  • use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
  • buy tickets with stolen payment instruments or resell tickets where the organizer or law prohibits it;
  • copy, forge, duplicate or manipulate tickets or QR codes;
  • scrape, overload, probe or interfere with the platform, or attempt to access other users' data;
  • upload or publish unlawful, infringing or harmful content on event pages.

We may suspend access or cancel orders that violate these rules or that we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent.

7. Intellectual property

The platform — its software, design and branding — belongs to the operator. Event content (names, images, descriptions) belongs to the respective organizers. You may not reuse either without permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the platform available and secure, but it is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for the events themselves — their quality, changes to their line-up or programme, or their cancellation. Those are the organizer's responsibility.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury), or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the ticket(s) in the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses such as travel or accommodation costs connected to an event.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

  • First, write to us at hello@alphaticket.app — most issues are resolved quickly.
  • Consumers in the Czech Republic may use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz).
  • EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your home country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example when we add features or the law changes. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be announced on the site.
