Organizer Terms

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between the operator of AlphaTicket and you, the event organizer, when you create a workspace and sell tickets through the platform. They apply in addition to the general Terms of Service. By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of your organization.

1. Parties

The platform is operated by:

Operator: [Operator legal name]
Address: [Registered address]
Registration: [Company / trade licence ID (IČO)]

"You" means the person or entity that creates a workspace (tenant) and publishes events. If you act for a company or association, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

2. What the platform provides

Event pages, online checkout via Stripe, ticket generation and email delivery, QR-code check-in tools, team roles, sales reports and refund tooling. We provide the technology; you are the seller of your tickets and the party responsible for your events.

3. Your responsibilities as organizer

  • Describe your events accurately — date, venue, programme, admission rules and prices.
  • Hold every licence and permission the event needs, and comply with safety, capacity and other regulations at the venue.
  • Comply with consumer-protection law towards your buyers, including refunding cancelled events (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which you adopt towards your buyers as a minimum standard).
  • Account for and pay your own taxes on ticket revenue, including VAT where applicable, and issue receipts or invoices to buyers where the law requires it.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and manage your team's roles responsibly — actions taken by your team members count as yours.

4. Payments and payouts (Stripe Connect)

  • To receive money you must complete onboarding for a Stripe connected account and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Stripe may require identity and business verification.
  • Buyer payments are processed through the platform and routed to your Stripe account. Stripe's processing fees and any platform fee (shown in your workspace or agreed with us) are deducted before payout.
  • Payout timing is governed by Stripe. We do not hold your funds.
  • You authorize us to execute refunds through Stripe on your behalf when you trigger them in the platform, and to process refunds of cancelled events.

5. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes

  • You handle buyer refund requests and must refund the ticket price when you cancel an event.
  • Chargebacks and dispute fees for your sales are borne by you and are deducted through Stripe. When a dispute is opened, the affected tickets are suspended; if the dispute is lost, they are cancelled.
  • Refunded or cancelled tickets are invalidated automatically at check-in.

6. Prohibited events and content

You may not use the platform to sell tickets for or promote:

  • unlawful events or activities;
  • events you do not actually organize or have no right to sell tickets for;
  • content that is fraudulent, infringing, hateful or violent;
  • anything restricted by Stripe's prohibited business list.

7. Buyer data and data processing (GDPR)

For the personal data of your buyers (name, email, phone, order and check-in data) you are the controller and we are your processor under Article 28 GDPR. The following terms form the data-processing agreement between us:

  • Subject matter and duration: processing of buyer data to provide the ticketing service, for as long as your workspace exists plus statutory retention periods.
  • Nature and purpose: collecting orders, delivering tickets by email, validating entry, reporting sales to you, processing refunds.
  • Our obligations: we process buyer data only on your documented instructions (given through your use of the platform), keep it confidential, protect it with appropriate technical and organizational measures, assist you with data-subject requests and breach notifications, and notify you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your buyers.
  • Sub-processors: you authorize Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (hosting). We will inform you of changes to this list.
  • End of processing: when your workspace is deleted, buyer data is deleted or anonymized except where retention is required by law.
  • Your obligations: you must have a lawful basis for the processing, present buyers a privacy notice (our Privacy Policy covers processing on the platform), and use buyer contact details only in connection with the event they bought tickets for — not for unrelated marketing without their consent.

8. Fees

Applicable platform fees are shown in your workspace before you publish paid events, or agreed with us separately, and are deducted per transaction. Stripe's processing fees are set by Stripe. We may change fee levels with prior notice; changes apply to sales made after the change.

9. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using the platform and delete your workspace at any time; obligations relating to already-sold tickets (delivering the event or refunding) survive.
  • We may suspend or terminate workspaces that break these terms, create legal or fraud risk, or fail Stripe verification. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

10. Liability and indemnity

We are liable for the platform working as described, not for your events. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You indemnify us against third-party claims (including buyer claims and regulatory fines) arising from your events, your content or your breach of these terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms with reasonable prior notice; continuing to sell after the notice period means acceptance. These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Questions: hello@alphaticket.app.
