Cookie Policy

The short version: we use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. We run no analytics cookies, no marketing trackers and no third-party advertising. Because strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement, you will not see a cookie banner here — there is nothing to consent to.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (such as local storage) serve the same purpose; we cover them here too.

2. What we use

Authentication (organizers only): when an organizer signs in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets session cookies (names beginning with sb-) that keep you signed in. They are removed or expire when you sign out. Ticket buyers do not sign in and do not receive these.
Theme preference: we remember whether you chose light or dark mode so the page renders in your theme without flashing.

That is the complete list. None of these are used to track you across sites.

3. Payment pages

Checkout happens on Stripe's own payment page (checkout.stripe.com), where Stripe sets cookies needed for secure payment and fraud prevention under its own cookie policy.

4. If this ever changes

If we ever introduce cookies that require consent (for example analytics), we will add a consent banner and ask you first. Until then, there is nothing to opt out of.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will break organizer sign-in, but public event pages and ticket buying will still work.
